There are many people who are facing repossession, foreclosure or too much of credit card debt they may file for bankruptcy as an option to relieve their debt. People in the state of Texas who feel that the only option to relieve debt is to file for bankruptcy will wonder about the effects bankruptcy will have on their credit report. But however when people have spoken about the effects of bankruptcy they have only mentioned about the financial effects but the real effects of bankruptcy is not seen in the way it affects a person financially but the way it affects a person

psychologically. The person who has filled for bankruptcy will have a feeling of ineffectiveness of felling out of control and the thought of legally being written off as a bankrupt and chances of never availing loans from a reputed and well known lender or bank is the major effect of bankruptcy. This felling of helplessness and vulnerability will force a person to borrow money from unscrupulous lenders who will exploit the bankrupt person. A bankrupt can start a new business only with the permission of a court. They are not allowed to hold public offices.
As mentioned earlier an individual cannot avail loans and credit from “traditional” sources. If they need credit a person will apply only to “non-traditional” sources. Even if a person applies for a job he must mention that he is a bankrupt. The whole process of bankruptcy causes guilt, failure and a lot of mental stress.
